I have had a life long fascination with the paranormal and things that go bump in the night. In a futile attempt to cure my childhood nyctophobia (fear of the dark) through self administered immersion therapy I decided to study parapsychology. I became an accredited paranormal investigator in London in the 1990's - investigating everything from voodoo curses to haunted government establishments, Apparitions to Black Shucks and everything in between.  I carried out research for both The SPR (The Society for Psychical Research) and ASSAP (The Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena for which I was an accredited investigator.

I have spent nights in some of the most haunted locations in the British Isles. From medieval castles to ancient inns, roads haunted by phantom hitchhikers to council houses troubled by poltergeists.

I helped to create and teach the first evening classes in parapsychology in the UK.

I organised and ran overnight vigils in allegedly haunted locations long before it became popular to pay to wait for ghosts in the dark in old houses with no central heating. 

I am one of only a select few people in the world to have appeared on Blue Peter and received a Blue Peter Badge for Ghost Hunting. 

I am a creator of bizarre magic effects and routines.

I am a proud member of the Association de Magiciens Internationaux and The Séance Society of Great Britain.
